For removalists
Catch every quote request, even while you’re loading the truck.
Ernie is an AI assistant on your website. A removal quote depends on what’s moving, the stairs and the parking. Ernie answers customers’ questions from your own pages, asks what you need to know, then texts you the job details.
Answers from your website, even at 9 pm on a Sunday.
Ernie answers only from what your website says, and tells people when it doesn’t know. These are the kinds of questions it handles for removalists.
Do you supply boxes?
Yes. Lantern Removals sells moving boxes, tape and wrap, and can drop them off before your move.
Can you move us on a Saturday?
Yes. Lantern Removals moves Monday to Saturday. Sunday moves are by arrangement, so mention it when you ask for a quote.
How much for a 2-bedroom unit?
The website says local moves start from $160 an hour for two movers and a truck. For an exact quote, I can send your details to Lantern.
The job details, not a missed call.
When someone wants a quote, a booking or a call back, Ernie asks your questions first, then emails and texts you the answers. You choose what it asks.

What Ernie can ask before it sends a job
- Their name and the best number to call
- Where they’re moving from and to, and when
- What’s moving, room by room
- Stairs, lifts and parking at each end
- Photos of the rooms, if they have them

Can customers send photos of what’s moving?
Yes. They can add up to five photos in the chat, and the photos come with the enquiry, so you can see the furniture and the stairs before you quote.
Can Ernie ask about stairs and parking?
Yes. You choose the questions Ernie asks before it sends you an enquiry, so you get what you need to quote.
Does Ernie give quotes or book moves?
No. Ernie answers from your website and takes the details, then you price the move and confirm the date yourself. When your website doesn’t list a price, Ernie says so.
What if Ernie gets something wrong?
Ernie answers only from your website. When your website doesn’t say, Ernie tells the visitor and gives your phone number, email or contact page. It can still get things wrong: in our September testing, 5 of 96 answers had a mistake. The chat tells visitors it can make mistakes, and nothing reaches you until they’ve checked the details and pressed Send. If an answer’s off, fix the page on your website and press Sync now.
Do I need a web developer?
No. If you can paste one line into your website, you can add Ernie. There are step-by-step guides for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Weebly / Square Online, Webflow and Framer, and one for everything else. Or email the instructions to whoever looks after your website, straight from the app.
